Captain Qualifications & Vessel Information

The Midnight Fancy is a 56-foot luxury yacht, registered at 34 gross tons, with a draft of 4.5 feet. Powered by twin Cummins 6BTA diesel engines and operating without a bow thruster, she requires an experienced and competent captain.

Navigating the Banana River presents unique challenges. With an average depth of approximately 3 feet and many areas even shallower, local knowledge, navigational experience, and familiarity with this specific vessel are essential for safe operation.

Your Captain, Your Choice!

Under bareboat charter regulations, the renter has the exclusive right to select and hire their own captain. Cocoa Beach Charters cannot choose or assign a captain on your behalf.

For your convenience, we provide a list of experienced captains who have been vetted and approved by our insurance carrier as qualified to operate the Midnight Fancy. You are welcome to select a captain from this list or independently hire another qualified captain who meets our insurance requirements.

The choice is entirely yours!

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. If you have any questions about captain qualifications, vessel operations, or navigating our local waterways, please don't hesitate to contact us!
